The Fluffy Jackets - Award winning melodic blues rock

Emil Gammeltoft, guest vocal

Emil Gammeltoft is well known within rock circles in his home-country of Sweden, but also internationally, having garnered solid reviews from his previous exploits in the concrete metal band Nerved.

Emil is currently fronting SKoR (Some Kind of Rubus) which has elements of rock and folk music, even boosting a formidable fiddle player. Other projects include the band Side Effect, which make use of his more full-on rock voice. Emil is also known in Stockholm for standing in for AC/DC cover bands on occasion. But his main band is SKoR, and his immediate focus is to promote their new album called "Smörgåsbord". Check it out online at www.somekindofrubus.com

In terms of influences, Emil grew up on a heavy dose of Nazareth records and sites Nazareth’s Dan McCafferty an inspiration.

Emil is lending his impressive larynx to two tracks on the Fluffy Jackets debut album, namely “Your Way” and “Traveling Shoes”. Both these vocal overdubs were done in Stockholm, Sweden, engineered by Mats "Mally" Hoxell and also featured some great backing vocals.
