SONG SUMMARY
“I Think Too Much” is a playful, guitar-driven blues-rock song by The Fluffy Jackets about the uncertainty, overthinking and awkwardness that can come with falling for someone. The track features LA-based slide guitar specialist Matt Bradford, whose distinctive slide guitar solo adds a gritty blues-rock character to the arrangement. With an upbeat groove, melodic guitars, conversational male vocals and a light-hearted sense of humour, the song has an accessible contemporary classic-rock feel.
The original 2024 recording is available for sync licensing and is included on The Fluffy Jackets – 20 Greatest (2007–2027), released in 2027. Matt Bradford has also appeared on other The Fluffy Jackets recordings, including “The Well Is Dry” from The Rise And Fall Of The Songwriter (2024) and "Girl Crush" from "20 Greatest (2007–2027)".

```I THINK TOO MUCH - Official Lyrics
My girl said I worry too much
She wonders if I am drinking too much
Is it that I talk too much?
When we go for a walk
If I do it right, I might see her tonight
But I probably end up and hold her too tight
It is hard to love somebody when you know she cant love you
But I got to keep trying, or I look like a cunt?
I don't play the game too much
So I wonder if I see her too much?
Do I call her too much?
Or tell her that I love her too much?
I keep on wondering, if I try one more time
Will all my ducks come and fall into line?
You may ask me what I really want to do?
All I want to do is start pleasing you
Did I kiss her too much?
That night when we danced too much
Did her boyfriend see too much?
Does he know that I like her too much?
She is an amazing thing for my eyes to behold
Do I love her too much? Do I care what I am told
I keep on wondering about what she want to hear
So I got to keep trying to sit next to her
